Senate Bill 95 as introduced expands the expungement of criminal records to include convictions of certain misdemeanor offenses, traffic violations, and municipal ordinances and certain felony offenses. This bill also increases the filing fee for petitions for expungement from $300 to $500 and requires the $200 increase to be distributed equally between the State General Fund and the Education Trust Fund.
