Senate Bill 26 as introduced would require property and casualty insurers to submit an annual Statement of Actuarial Opinion, pursuant to NAIC standards, unless exempted by the Commissioner of Insurance as provided in the NAIC annual instructions. This bill could increase the administrative obligations of the Department of Insurance by a small undetermined amount to approve or deny applications for exemption from this requirement.
